Just like that, my colleague and relative of the show has reached the 150th episode—and the final one of 2024! To mark the milestone, J.T. the L.A. Storyteller joins the Social Primate Podcast for a special hour dedicated to untold stories: YOUR STORIES.
The show airs Tuesday, December 17, from 8:00 – 9:00 PM on 101.5 FM KQBH-LA, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Whether it’s something you loved, struggled with, or which you just can’t let the year end without sharing, this is your chance to speak and Let The Whole City Know.
We’re looking for stories that inspire, move, or connect deeply with the human experience. You can submit in one of two ways:
* Written Stories: Keep it between 300–500 words.
* Voicemail Stories: Call 213-458-5042 and tell us your story in 2.5 minutes or less. Since we only have an hour on air, we can’t feature every submission, but we’ll choose the ones that best honor the themes we’ve set up.
SUBMISSION STEPS:
1. Pick a Pseudonym or Alias:
This keeps your story anonymous and lets us focus on the story itself.
2. Choose a City or Neighborhood (Real or Imagined):
Give us a sense of place—where does your story come from?
3. Choose a Prompt or Theme:
* Lost, Gained, or In Between: Share something that life has given or taken from you this year.
* Loved, Struggled With, or Accomplished: Talk about a challenge, growth, or unexpected discovery.
* Fears, Hopes, or Uncertainties: Name a challenge or dream for the future.
* Year-End Must-Share: Tell us about one thing from 2024 you feel just has to be heard.
Stories connect us and keep us connected. They remind us we’re not alone in our fears, hopes, and dreams; by sharing yours, you might inspire someone—or even help them feel heard or seen.
