ERICK GALINDO AND MEGAN TAN ARE WILD FOR LOVE THIS SPRING

Did you know that a podcaster has a special place in their heart for fellow podcasters? It’s for this reason that episode 118 of J.T. the L.A. Storyteller Podcast features none other than @laistofficial’s Erick Galindo and Megan Tan, who chat with us about the second season of the WILD podcast, which they co-host together.

Season 2 of LAist’s WILD Podcast is a nine-part, fictional romantic comedy series inspired by Erick’s life. The show invites listeners to suspend belief and consider all the unlikely things that happen to us (and because of us) in the pursuit of love and affection. At a time full of choices for streaming, I can tell you that Erick and Megan’s new audio-drama for LAist is warm, full of charm, and very much inspired by life in big cities everywhere, including, of course, Los Angeles.

Be sure to subscribe to J.T. the L.A. Storyteller Podcast for more updates regarding this and other cool shows.

APPLICATIONS FOR SANTA MONICA/VERMONT APTS OPEN THIS FALL & MORE: OUR RECAP

In this recap episode, we discuss our hard-hat walking tour with Minako Ferrante of the Little Tokyo Service Center this past week. In particular, we discuss five questions pedestrians in and around the Vermont/Santa Monica corridor in East Hollywood might be interested in, including whether the project contributes to gentrification, the funding for the development, the number of housing units for people experiencing homelessness, and of course, when applications open up for those who qualify.

Be sure to subscribe to the podcast for more updates regarding this and more developments across Los Angeles.
